Back in the late ’70’s I was fortunate enough to be a part of a very special group of folks while attending Doane College. Even though I was a Jr. College transfer these folks let me in to make music together. The Noboby Quartet was quite the phenomenon back in the day. We would perform[…]
This is a sample judging form alternative for District Music Contest. It is in very rough form but you get the idea. The proposal would be to use a decimal system to fine tune the scoring a little. Also, judging sections are very specific on this form instead of all over the place on the[…]
Becky, Alex, and I had an absolute blast last Saturday Night at the Homecoming Dance for Elkhorn Mount Michael. The kids had so much fun dancing and singing along with most of the tunes. The sponsor said: “VoiceHouse dj’d our homecoming dance last night. Despite it being incredibly hot they keep the dance floor packed[…]

Music for reception and then full dance floor all night! So much fun. Thanks Brianna for a great playlist!

I was given the distinct honor of conducting the attendees at the Nebraska Choral Directors Association Summer convention. This is Z. Randall Stroope’s Dona Nobis Pacem, an amazing piece that they sang with such passion. Amazing moment for me.

Barb’s and Desire’s Dance teams, Lynette’s Dance, and iDance took the stage. Here are some video and pictures.
